Beauteous berries

Sometimes it's hard to believe what beautiful creations mother nature can come up with—for example look at the yummy turquoise and purple colors of these porcelain berries. This porcelain berry vine was growing wildly in a yet to be tamed area of our property when we first moved in 12 years ago. After identifying what this pretty climber was, I quickly dug it up and transplanted it to an area with a trellis, and every fall it puts on quite a show! Beware though, the prolific berries of this vine will sprout easily, and could spatially usurp other plants if you don't keep the seedlings in check.
