Old masters revisited

Award winning photographer Bill Gekas has been creating portraits of his angelic five-year old daughter in the style of master European painters of old. The Melbourne, Australia native makes photographs that mimic the painting of the Dutch, Flemish and Italian 17th-century masters. I love the strong, single light and the rich glow of his photographs that clearly pay homage to Vermeer and Rembrandt paintings. See many more of his creative photo portraits by clicking on his name above.
