In early April we plug in the fountain in our sunken garden and to celebrate this annual event, we also have a ritual to open a bottle of champagne or sparkling wine. This year we drank Italian prosecco and nibbled on French
scourtins cookies—sweet cookies made with dry cured olives. Let the season begin!
