Maurice Sendak's classic children's book,
Where the Wild Things Are, has a birthday today—it's
fifty years old! I'm a huge fan of the book, and even have a Spanish version of it. I love his unique and whimsical illustrations and inspiring story-telling.
Sendak passed on last year, but his stories will live on forever to delight kids and grown ups who are kids at heart… like me!
Also, I really like the colors Sendak used in this illustration!
