Corn cob salad

Local corn is in season!  We got a few ears from Canaan Farms in Wenham and made this colorful corn salad, which was great with cajun spiced blackened talapia fish. The salad included steamed and cut corn, red pepper, cilantro, scallions, cumin, a dash of heat (courtesy of SeƱor Tabasco) and a squeeze of lime. Not a drop of butter in sight. Heck, our local corn season is short enough, so go out and support your local farms!
